Capturing Innovation Through Corporate Photography in Louisville
Corporate photography is more than taking professional portraits—it’s about telling a story. Over the past few years, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with Michael Ekbudant on a meaningful project that showcases the Edison Engineering Development Program (EEDP) at GE Appliances, a Haier company in Louisville, Kentucky.
The Edison Program is designed to recruit and inspire the talent, creativity, and dedication of the next generation of engineers. My role as a corporate photographer has been to capture the spirit of these incredible individuals—documenting not only their professionalism but also the innovation and energy they bring to their work.
Showcasing the People Behind the Innovation
Through photography, we’ve been able to celebrate the personalities and hard work of the engineers who make up this program. From team portraits to behind-the-scenes storytelling, each image reflects the commitment to excellence and forward-thinking mindset that GE Appliances fosters at Appliance Park.
Michael’s vision has been to spotlight his students driving innovation, and it’s been an honor to bring that vision to life through creative photography. These are individuals who embody GE’s mission of “making good things, for life”—always searching for a better way to design, build, and improve.
A Legacy of 50 Years
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Edison Engineering Development Program, an incredible milestone that speaks to the strength and impact of this initiative. The legacy of Edison engineers continues to grow, and being part of capturing that history through corporate photography is something I am truly proud of.
Here’s to the next 50 years of innovation, creativity, and engineering excellence.
