On the Indiana side of the river with Louisville in the background…she said “YES!” and Ken Hanley and Megan Patterson got married in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico on Feb. 22nd.
Nearly 60 guests from all over the United States and Europe stayed almost four days in Mexico soaking in the beautiful weather, food, and culture. Ken & Megan’s favorite part the whole celebration was being surrounded by their favorite people on earth, in a low key vibe and naturally beautiful place.
They definitely pulled it off and I can’t even begin to tell them who thankful and honored I was that they found me and asked me to go to Mexico with them to photograph their wedding. A few weeks before the wedding my dad said he was interested and I was even more excited about the thought of the two of us shooting in Mexico together! My dad and I had the most amazing experience working together, scouting out trash the dress locations, checking out Playa Del Carmen, and enjoying an all inclusive resort! (He was like a kid a playground!!) We came back to our room every night and talked about what sweet and fun people both Ken and Megan’s family were and how great everyone was to photograph. We worked hard the whole weekend taking beautiful pictures and loved every minute of it, but we also very much felt like a part of their close friends and family. Thank you all for being so very kind and gracious! I hope you guys love the pictures! There are many more, but hopefully this will hold you over for a few weeks!!
