Set on the historic grounds of Oxmoor Farm, this celebration carried a sense of legacy from the very beginning. As a Louisville Wedding Photographer and Kentucky Wedding Photographer, I’m always watching for the moments that define a wedding beyond the design — the subtle exchanges, the pauses, the emotion woven between generations. This day gave us so many of those moments.
Stephanie’s journey to this day wasn’t without a pivot. She initially began planning at another venue that unexpectedly closed, leaving her to quickly shift plans. Securing Oxmoor Farm turned out to be a dream from start to finish. In many ways, it felt meant to be.

The overall aesthetic felt elevated without being overstated, perfectly at home against Oxmoor’s stately architecture and sweeping lawns.
The ceremony unfolded beneath open Kentucky skies, framed by the rolling landscape that makes an Oxmoor Farm wedding so distinctive. Historic brick architecture stood quietly behind them as vows were exchanged, grand in setting, yet deeply personal in feeling.

The reception design was layered and intentional. Florals by Zachary Brady Designs brought organic softness to the estate’s structured setting, while rentals from In Good Company added warmth and texture.
Guests enjoyed an incredible dinner curated by Josh Wiese, followed by specialty desserts from Cannoli King and a stunning cake by Alex Dulaney of Le Relais. The evening felt welcoming, elegant, and distinctly Kentucky, a reflection of both the couple and the setting.
As the sun lowered across the lawn, the entire wedding party stepped away for a shared glass of bourbon and a toast — a meaningful nod to their long-time support of Brown-Forman and a celebration of Kentucky heritage. These intimate, unscripted moments are always my favorite to document. The laughter, the clinking glasses, the golden light stretching across the estate — it felt cinematic yet completely authentic.
