Meagan & Nick were married on February 27, 2016 at The Pointe in Louisville, Kentucky and chose Kylene’s Photography to capture their incredible day. All I can say is that the Varney/Kilkelly crew were nothing short of amazing to work with. They made me feel like I was part of the family from the very first meeting and we left the wedding feeling like lifelong friends. I know I say this all the time…but I am truly so lucky to have the amazing clients like I do. With each wedding I feel more blessed to be a part the most important day in these families lives and create memories to last through generations. Meagan & Nick certainly reminded me of that once again.

“I knew Nick was the one when, after we had only been dating about a month, we went to my parents for the first time and he fit in like he had known them his whole life. It’s like it was meant to be. He proposed on our porch, on the Fourth of July in front of our parents. We had planned a great family day with our parents with a grill out and just a relaxing day. Everyone knew he was proposing but me. He called everyone outside for family pictures then when we went to take ones of just us he got down on one knee and asked (I blacked out as he was asking me because I was so excited!!). He totally surprised me! ” Said Meagan of the engagement.

The wedding day couldn’t have turned out more perfect! We got to work with our favorite florist, Don’t Forget the Flowers, Heather Yeowine with Hay DJ got the party going and everything went flawless at the Pointe. I had my always awesome assistant, Dustin Alton Strupp, climbing walls just to get a great shot! They got married on one the warmest days in February and we got the chance to get some beautiful shots around the venue. They did a first look which ALWAYS gives us an opportunity to do more photos. We convinced Meagan and Nick to step outside after the ceremony just in time to get the golden hour sunset…no bride and groom ever regrets doing that! The photos turned out wonderful!
