Jennifer and Matt had a Louisville Palace Wedding on September 5, 2015 in downtown Louisville, Kentucky and choose Kylene’s Photography to capture their amazing wedding. It was truly an honor to get to be a part of another Bohnert wedding! I had the pleasure of photographing Jennifer’s sister’s wedding, Elizabeth & Peter a few years ago and truly LOVE this family more than words can describe. They make me feel like I am another sister, daughter and lifelong friend when I am with them. And every meeting we had was over drinks and cocktails planning these amazing events!! It doesn’t get much better than that!!
Matt proposed to Jennifer during a walk in a favorite neighborhood park. “We sat down on a bench and Matt began telling me what he loved about me and we talked about our hopes for the future. That’s when Matt popped the question. But that was not the only surprise, he told me that we should go grab a celebratory drink before calling our family and friends. However, when we got to the bar, Matt had planned for all our family and friends to be there to surprise me and celebrate with us! The rest is history!” Said Jennifer.
And the King wedding will go down in history! The Louisville Palace is by far one of the most beautiful and artistic buildings in Louisville. Jennifer and Matt had a first look before the ceremony and gave my assistant, Dustin Alton Strupp and I time to create some breathtaking images around the venue. The lighting at The Palace can be challenging for any wedding photographer, but we used our skills to generate some beautifully lit photos with a great looking couple!!
The day went flawless and most of all because Sharon Bonhert, Jennifer’s mother is a master at planning a wedding for her daughters! We also just loved working with Sydney O’Bryan. She pays attention to every last detail and takes good care of everyone! We absolutely can’t say enough great things about working with you Sydney! Congrats to Jennifer and Matt!!
